Battleship Blitz is Battleship on a small grid. Six by six squares instead of ten, and three ships instead of five, so there are 36 squares to shoot at and fleets go down fast. On top of that each player gets ninety seconds for the whole game.

The smaller grid changes the game more than you would think: a random shot hits far more often, and there is neither room nor time for long systematic sweeps. Hesitate and you lose on the clock before you find the third ship.
