How it works

Lethal Card, ELO, friends and trophies in a nutshell. You can play right away with no sign-up — save a profile when you want friends and trophies.

Lethal Card

  • Your player card: name, ELO, rank, wins and losses, best streak and your last 10 games. It starts counting on its own from your first game against a person — even as a guest.
  • Save the card as an image and post it, for example on Reddit. The code on the image leads to a verification page where anyone can see the numbers are real.
  • Pick an artwork for your card — next to the card or softly in the background. The same picture becomes your avatar in games, with friends, on trophies and on the leaderboard.
  • Change your nickname any time with “Change nickname” in Lethal Card or on your trophies. With a saved profile your name is the same on every device.

ELO & ranks

One number for every game. The same ELO is on your Lethal Card, the leaderboard and your trophies.

Ranks

  1. Lethalfrom 1850
  2. Diamondfrom 1700
  3. Goldfrom 1550
  4. Silveryou start herefrom 1400
  5. Bronzebelow 1400

How ELO is calculated

  • Everyone starts at 1500, which is Silver.
  • Beating a stronger player gains more than beating a weaker one. Losing to a weaker player costs more.
  • It uses Glicko-2: new players reach their level within a few games, experienced players move more steadily.

What counts

  • Only games between two people. Bots and games on one device do not change ELO.
  • At least 6 moves — resigning right at the start does not count.
  • At most 5 games against the same opponent per day, so nobody can farm ELO with a friend.

Leaderboard & Top %

  • You appear on the leaderboard right after your first counted game.
  • Top % on your card shows which top percentage of players you belong to. It only counts players with at least 5 games.

Losers board

  • Next to the top players there is a losers board, where the competition runs the other way. It lists players with at least 2 games and one loss.
  • The loser score grows with your share of losses, their number (each extra loss adds less) and a low ELO.

Saving your profile

  • Friends and trophies need a lasting profile. You save it with a passkey — Face ID, fingerprint or your device lock. No password, no email.
  • When saving, you choose a unique name. Friends find you by it and it is part of your trophies link.
  • On another device, sign in with the same passkey and your card, friends and trophies are there.

Friends & chat

  • Add a friend by their name, or after a game with the Add button under your opponent’s name.
  • The chat shows who is online and who is typing. Challenge a friend to a game with one tap.
  • Once a challenge is played, the chat shows the result with a link.
  • Tap anyone’s name or avatar — on the leaderboard, on trophies or in chat — to open their player card.
  • In the chat menu (⋯) you can remove, report or block a friend.

Trophies

  • Your trophies page shows everyone you have beaten — how many times, in which games, with replays of each game.
  • Share your trophies link; its preview shows your rank, ELO and record.
  • You can also delete your profile there.

Notifications

  • When a friend messages you, challenges you or someone sends a friend request, you see a heads-up on any page and a count next to Friends.
  • Turn on notifications for when the site is closed in Friends. On iPhone, first add the site to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from there.
  • You can turn them off any time in the same place.

Verified results

  • Every finished online game has a result page: who won, the score, the list of games and a replay of each.
  • The server records the result, not a player’s browser — it cannot be edited.
  • At the end of a game, send the result link or the result image to your opponent or your group.

Battleship Extreme

  • Question marks appear on your opponent’s sea. Hit one and you get a weapon: a nuke, a mini nuke, a scatter shot, a torpedo or a radar.
  • Pick the weapon below the board, then a single tap on the target fires it — on phones too.
  • Where a scatter shot lands is decided by the server only when you fire, and the cells appear one by one as the shots land. Nobody can work it out in advance.
  • Radar shows how many unhit ship cells are in a 3×3 square. Your opponent sees where you sent it, and you see theirs.
